Many push notifications are not appearing on lock screen under iOS 8 -

When I drag down from the top on my lock screen, I get the calendar for today, and "notifications" which is often empty now.

Is this due to Apps not being updated yet for some new "iOS 8 push protocol" ?

I send myself an email from Apple Mail under OSX 10.9.5 and 3/4 of the time, no push notification appears on my iPhone lock screen. Sometimes it does just fine, mostly not.

HELP !

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), 2012,27in,16GB,1T Fusion,iPhone 5S

works fine here for all apps updated or not make sure ur notification settings are set properly

Yes they are set fine.

Why would some (Apple's own mail App) emails appear in lock screen, and mostly not then?

Are Apple push servers backed up or broken?

UPDATE: I am seeing a LOT of trouble for many Apps talked about on the net.

Try google: "iOS 8" push notifications broken
