Map Pogoplug drive

Is there a way to map a pogoplug drive to OSX Mavericks? I bought a PP the other day thinking it would treat my external hard drive as a NAS, however I was quickly disappointed in the UI it provides. I am at a point of returning the hardware if it doesn't serve it's purpose but would like to make sure I am not missing anything.

Yes. you need to download the Pogoplug Backup Softwarewhich will allow you to do exactly what you want. There is an option in the settings to mount the PogoPlug as a drive which is what you are looking for. It also happens to be exactly how I use my PopgoPlug pretty much exclusively.
