I recently received a MacBook as a birthday present and I've had nothing but a good experience with OS X so far. The only problem is that I'm in the throes of a MapleStory addiction but I want to be able to play MapleStory while still having Safari open and chatting with my friends on Adium. I've already made a Boot Camp partition and installed VMware Fusion but I can't seem to get MapleStory to run. The loader works fine and it runs GameGuard but then I get an error message saying "Failed in finding proper screen mode for Gr2D". I'm pretty sure Fusion supports Direct3D and I tried adjusting the resolution but to no avail. Please, someone help!

On an unrelated note: Spaces + VMware Fusion is so freaking cool. :D Instant switch between OS X and Windows (See what I did there? I didn't call it Winblows ).

I'm bumping this up since I still haven't been able to resolve the issue. Is there some kind of unofficial driver I can use? Somebody please help. :(

Bumping this again as a reasonable amount of time has passed since I last bumped it up and I still haven't gotten a conclusive answer.

Well... for my experiences all you need to do is download and install the lastest version of direct-x

Hope it helps =P:p
