Apps Mappist - online map viewer

Mappist lets you explore maps on your TV. It offers street, aerial and topo maps (aerial and topo only have decent coverage in the US, for now - the others are good worldwide) and you can search place names to find them on the map (play/pause). You can use a game controller to scroll and zoom. Currently it supports OpenStreetMap, OpenAerial, OpenCycleMap, US Geological Survey Topo, Imagery, and Imagery/Topo. Future updates will allow user configurable map sources for more mapping options.

Search "mappist" (or just "map" or "nav") in the App Store. Let me know what you think.

Version 1.1 update now in the store with user configurable map servers. You can enter any server URL that follows the Google Maps compatible (XYZ) or Bing compatible (quad tree) formats.

There are lots of tile server URLs floating around on the net. For example, search on Pastebin. Of course before using any map server you should make sure you're complying with the service's terms of use.
