This makes me very uncomfortable.

I did a clean install of iOS 9 on my iPhone. I didnt restore any backup but rebuilt the phone contents afresh.

Just now I was playing around in Maps and looked in the search bar. There, in addition to locations it has taken from my email inbox i.e I have a physio appointment next week and it has auto-populated the search field with that address (this happened under iOS8 and indeed I made a thread here about this at the time), were search history items from two weeks ago i.e when I was running iOS 8.4 since wiped and clean install of iOS 9.

Now I've gone into Maps on my iMac and sure enough the location search I carried out on my phone on 9 September appears in that search history. So clearly iCloud has somehow sync'd my previous searches on a separate device and passed that information onto another computer logged in under my iCloud credentials.

This has all manner of privacy problems that you can imagine.

Not only that but under iOS 9 I dont seem to have a clear option to delete search history.

WTF Apple??!?!
