MAPS App on my iPhone 4 with iOS6 - Anythig new?

You get a half-baked, more vibrant colored apple maps at the expense of excellent map data, satellite images and google street view.
That pretty much sums it up for an iPhone 4 user upgrading to iOS 6
the new maps sucks. its like going straight to a car tom tom (probably true). gone is the wealth of google data. last week i was looking for a tailgate and searched for volleyball courts on stanford's campus. it found them. the new maps? not even close, finds nothing. gone are all the overlays with places of interest right on the map like street names. its so easy to find stuff without actually searching for it. sometimes you dont even know what to search for by name but see it on the map and get reminded. im so disappointed with the new maps app and the fact that it will be integrated with the OS. so even when google releases its own stand alone app, the OS wont load maps in it by default.
