Maps & clearing cities

I just got the iPhone 6 plus yesterday and it didn't seem as huge as I expected. Well today I was using the maps app using that flyover feature (which works very well) by the way. But I could not find a way to clear those cities in the drop down list after I was done with them. How do clear them off the list on the iPhone?

Open maps > search for an address > go to favorites > recents > and the clear option should be at the top left

Thanks to your suggestion I was able to clear the cities in the recents. It was easy enough.
