So this may be a coincidence, but. . .

I moved about 3 miles away last week, got my internet hooked up at the new place yesterday (transferred online before the move over from my old place, so the guy just ran the cable from the basement), then updated to 3.0 on my 1st gen iPhone. Today I went into maps and pressed current location and it says I am at my old house.

I guess the most logical answer is that the network here is still listed at my old address and so Maps is connecting it to the old address.
But, shouldn't there be other networks/cell towers to triangulate with (Skyhook?). I can pick up 3 or 4 locked WiFi networks right now.

I am using the same router from the old place so I guess the IP is registered at that location? I'll have my wife check her 3G when she comes home, the GPS should definitely find our actual location.

Turn off Wi-Fi and I bet it gets you right.
