Recently on my Verizon iPhone, whenever I access the Maps app, the GPS is inaccurate. It's off by a couple of blocks and the map keeps flickering. The GPS Status app confirms that I'm getting a bad lock. This happens even when I'm outdoors. Is this happening to anyone else? Should I bring my iPhone to Apple/Verizon to get a replacement? I'm in NYC by the way.

if you are among the tall buildings of NYC, gps could be off some. In an open area it should work better, it won't hurt to get it checked either way.

In the last couple of days I've experienced almost the same thing in Manhattan, Queens & Bklyn. The GPS was always accurate and my 3G speed always good, but the map kept flicking like crazy between the actual map and the checkered tiles. Didn't matter if I scrolled or not. Seems ok now, but I haven't gone outside yet today to try it out. Btw.. I'm on ATT.
