I am running:
Mac OSX 10.4.10
Firefox 2.0.0.7
Java J2SE 5.0
and run updater every week.

I've been on a mac for awhile, but about 2 months ago I suddenly started to java problems with certain websites not loading fully. Seems that sites like google maps, when entering and address, the page continues to say "loading", but never loads. I have found that true with other pages as well, portions where there should be pictures, don't load.

I believe this is a java issue, as I have tried opening one website in IE and got :
java.lang.NoclassDeffoundError

Also when running applet launcher I get the same response.

Can anyone help?

If google maps isn't working for you, it's not a Java problem since the site doesn't use it. Yes, it uses Javascript which isn't related to Java at all...

Try another browser such as Safari, Camino, or Opera to see if its just not a funked up install of Firefox.
