Maps woke my computer from sleep, using location services?

I came into my room to find my computer awake (but the lid was still closed). I opened it and the location icon was active in the menu bar and said Maps was using my location.

I never launched Maps on my MacBook. I did use it on my iPhone a few hours earlier, but would that have anything to do with it?

Is my Mac hacked??
