I'm probably still using my mid-2012 for the foreseeable future..

Intel 520 SSD -> Samsung 860 Evo ($54)

8GB RAM -> 16GB Corsair Vengeance ($34*2)

Would these upgrades be worth it if prices went even lower (with Black Friday/Cyber Monday)?

It does what I need for Safari and light gaming, and it's holding up pretty well. I do notice some sluggishness, especially with Netflix and entering/exiting fullscreen on Youtube.

I've been thinking a lot, since I'm gonna keep this MBP for another 1-3 years.
Would this $122 upgrade even be noticeable, and prolong it up to that 3+ years mark?

I am still daily using a Mid2010 2.66 MBP with a Crucial 500GB SSD and OWC 16GB Ram on High Sierra 10.13.6

I think it works really well. Still feels very snappy. I would say its worth the $100 to upgrade. Heck, you can barely take a family of 4 out to dinner for less than that..lol
