Marginalia in PDFs?

Does anyone know if there are any programs that allow you to make notes on PDFs in Preview or another program? In college a ton of my reading is done via PDFs the teachers provide on line. Printing them is such a waste - can I take notes on my computer and have the document save where the notes are (like putting little stickies on a hardcopy document)?

I'm assuming you're wanting something other than Acrobat? You may want to look into the educational pricing of Acrobat. It should be a lot cheaper than the regular pricing, and will allow you to do just what you want, and a ton of other things.
