Other Mark iMessage as Unread

How is this not a feature yet?

Does anyone else read a text message and then not have time to respond? Then forget to reply because the unread badge is gone?

Lately, I find myself using Force Touch or now Haptic Touch, as you can see the thread without marking the message as read.

Apple, please let us mark messages as unread... just like emails.

This would be a good feature to have. I have often thought about that. I do that with email all the time, would be awesome to do that with text/iMessage.
