I did some doodling on a paper with a black marker on my desk (serious business stuff, hear?) and it went right through the paper and marked my desk!

How do I get it off? My desk isn't glass, by the way.

Just out of curiosity, what did you draw? Was it something dirty? :p

And what is your desk made out of?

Nah, just blacking out portions of my credit card bill that's not appropriate for the agency I had to send it to to prove something. The desk's wood (or maybe fake wood, whatever. It's an IKEA desk)

I'll try Mr. Clean's

Finger nail polish remover (acetone) works good for removing ink. But test it first to be sure it doesn't mess up your desk.

Just came back from buying Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and used it on the desk.

Wow, it really is magic. The marker marks are all gone with a light scrubbing.
