Actually - it's not hard to believe. The device is .5" thick - similar to the iphone. Considering what the iPad does and what the iPhone does and the parts required (I know I'm no engineer) but it doesn't seem "amazing" that the iPad is only .5" thick.

Not bashing. I think it's hard to believe everything the iPhone 3GS can do being so thin. So this is not "news"....

Actually, I don't think anything about it deserves the moniker "amazing". Nor do I think it is a "must have". My Touch is a "must have". the iPad (think feminine hygiene product) is NOT.
