Marking an AAC Song like a Podcast?

A religiously oppressed state
I have some old records I would like to record over to my computer, but rather than split each song into its own file I would like to keep the sides of the LP together (so each one will have to files (side 1 and 2)). I know with Podcasts you can mark chapters and skip to them on the iPod and in iTunes. Is there a way to do this with songs?
