Marking on MacBook Pro

Hi,
I have a MacBook Pro purchased July 2020. This strange marking has recently appeared at the top of the aluminium frame above the screen - it’s at the mid-section where (when it’s closed) I’ll use my thumb to open it up. I just wondered what would cause it? Any solutions?
