Marvel app: comic download stuck

I tried downloading a free xmen comic app today. It shows a little of the blue download progress but won't continue. Is there a way to stop a comic download that is stuck in progress?

Update:

I deleted another previously downloaded comic and redownloaded it then the stuck one downloaded.
