OK, here's a dumb question. How do I actually read comics on the Marvel Comics iPad app? I downloaded the app, launched it, created and confirmed an account then downloaded some free comics. I still cannot figure out how to read the darn things past the preview. Any help?? Thanks.

Try the comiology app. It has all the comics on it and they best interface which can be used on all platforms.

I ran into the exact same problem when I d/led that app on my old iPad! It's crazy- there's NO info about how to actually read the comics but I figured it out:
Open the app, tap "downloads" in the upper right corner. That takes you out of the "store" mode. From here you will see a list of your downloaded comics. Tap the comic you want to read and there you go!

You are not alone my friend. This app is not intuitive at all. I do like the way it moves from panel to panel when you are actually reading the comics though. Enjoy! :)

Because Comixology runs both the DC and Marvel apps, I've never bothered to install either. Is there a reason to? Do the publisher apps offer different sales or discounts, or do they have expanded content?

Not from my experience, the only big benefit that I've seen is that you can keep your Marvel stuff separated from your DC stuff with both apps. And anything you've bought with either app will also appear in the Comixology Comics app too.

Thanks, exactly what I was wondering.
