Marvel Subscription access coming (probably)

The Marvel Comics app is very well designed, but I am not one to pay for digital comic books. They have a nice looking subscription deal on their website. For $60 a year you get unlimited access to a database of thousands of Marvel comics, but the subscription does no good on the Apple Apps.

I sent them a suggestion through their website telling them I would instantly subscribe if they added subscription access for the iPhone. I got this response the next day:

Dear Ashton,

Thank you for contacting Marvel's Online Support services.

We are looking into solutions on how to integrate our Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited subscription service with the Marvel Comics App for the iPad. We hope to have more information later in the year.

Marvel Comics is a universal app and I only use the iPhone so hopefully this would work for the iPhone as well, but according to Wendy iPad users can expect this functionality on the horizon.

I wouldn't mind this.

I can see myself spending close to that amount before the year is up. Luckily there isn't much content to choose from, at least not yet.
