Is there a way to apply the same caption/keyword to multiple photos in Aperture? I've tried selecting all photos, then typing in a caption/keyword, but it is only applied to the first photo selected. I just got back from a X-Canada road trip, so I really don't want to individually caption 3000+ photos ;). Thanks!

It doesn't work with captions (if anyone knows a way, I'd like to know as well). but with captions, selecting multiple photos should be fine. just make sure that you don't have "Primary Only" selected. It's the button all the way to the right.

Edit: It doesn't work if you type it in on the metadata viewer. Only works with the Keyword HUD or the keyboard commands.

Excellent - I'll have to try this when I get home tonight. Thanks.

Use Lift Metadata & Stamp

Choose an image, set its keywords & captions as you wish. Lift its metadata, it'll include keywords & captions. Select all images you want, stamp. Done!
