So I pulled the trigger on a 16GB Black iPhone on Sunday and overall I am pretty stoked coming from 8 years of Palm and Treo use. Of course there are a few things I miss, but I'm sure I'll adjust quickly.
Anyway, one of the things I want to do is tackle the stuff I imported in to Address Book.app from Palm Desktop. I had a lot of categories in Palm Desktop, and now I have a bunch of Notes in Address Book containing "X-Palm-Category1: CategoryX" and other various notes carried over.
I've googled for a bit and can't find an answer, so I figure if anybody would know it's you folks. Does an app, script or plugin exist where I can:
1. Create Address Book groups out of my old Palm categories, named appropriately?
2. Insert some other old categories in to the "Job Title" field?
I'm sure it is possible to do this with a custom AppleScript, but it would probably take me longer to learn it and write it, than it would be to change them all manually.
TIA!
