Heaven or Hell
I would like to send out 1600 emails at once to let some clients know
that i have a new website, and i plan on using Gmail to do so.

I know that Gmail limits it to 500 emails per 24 hours.
That means i will have to split it up into 3 days.

Is using Gmail a good idea, or will many of the recipients automatically
filter my Gmail Email into their Spam box, because Gmail is known for spamming...?

Or is it a better idea to use Constant Contact for not getting caught in someone's spam folder ?

If you have a site, do you have mailboxes there? Is so, use them. But, the limit is a nice thing, to prevent spammers from flooding.

You could also increase the mailing, by using BCC and mail to 15-20 per mail piece.

I am actually using Google Apps Domain Email.

so it looks like i am sending email through a domain name..

Does that make a difference ?
