I forgot to turn off cellular data prior to going to sleep and I woke up with roughly a 30% loss. I then restarted the phone and went down from 21% to 17%.

I also probably should mention that I can never get the optimized charging to work on my phone because I don’t charge it on a schedule and the AI can’t pick up on it.

Is it possible for cellular data to drain this much batter with the phone completely idle? Background app refresh is off btw.

On some iPhones, leaving them on Wi-Fi or cellular overnight takes a big hit on the battery.
As a test one night, turn off both cellular data and Wi-Fi and see what happened in the morning. Betcha the battery drained hardly at all.
