just got it in the mail this morning
i live in 6th district vienna (maybe its local)

saturn (biggest electronics chain in Austria) sells the 13" macbook pro for 888 euros instead of 1.149 euros.
i think thats unprecedented - usually apple hardware does not get cheaper unless they are outdated

also the stores seem to have an apple store-ish area (maybe even apple pays these employees)

lets hope thats an indication for soon updates

That is exceptionally cheap. Same seems to be happening in the UK with the prices, very tempting but I think I will resist and wait for the new model. Its going to be the biggest change since the MacBook first came out in 2006.

A third-party seller on Amazon was doing the 13" current model MBP for £799 earlier today but seems to have sold out. Amazon themselves are selling for £818.10 shipped.
