well my macbook has been off for repair and gotten a new airport card. it was losing the signal from my base station and dropping the internet regularly.
got it back yesterday, and the problem is still there.
so thinking it was my barely year old AEBS i bought an airport express. still getting the same problem. when i sit next to the router its fine, move more than 2 feet away and it hangs web pages and then drops signal. it then wont pick up the airport in airport utility. both of these airports are the current firmware and my macbook is fully updated.
the only threads i can find anywhere date back to a problem with 10.5.3 messing peoples wi fi up.
if anyone can help please please do. im tearing my hair out here and really really cant afford to not have my macbook for another 2-3 weeks
