I'm trying to construct a 3D render of a staircase for a client, I can't seem to comprehend how this layout works and where to place my axis etc. It looks good then start to draw it out and all goes wrong. Had it working well with house in one but then go to draw staircase and bad .
Would anyone be able to explain where I need to place my thingys.
The stairs need to start from top where the wall joins with house then down (I've attached how I want them to flow).
Any help appreciated, powerfull tool and would love to be able to use this .
Just attached orignal for geniuss to play with :p

Easiest way to explain: Take measurements. Model it without even thinking about this picture. When done, orbit around the scene to match the picture. Grab a screenshot. Composite both in Photoshop.
IMO, if you only have to match one element, and precision is not critical, go for the easy way...
