Wasn't sure where to put this thread, but it seemed iTunes related so went with Mac app...

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between a "Matched AAC audio file" and regular "AAC audio file."

The Matched files seem to be consistently larger than when I convert them to a regular AAC and I'm not sure why this would be. I'm using 256 kbps AAC btw to convert the 256 kbps Matched files.
