Well that was cool, but apparently the only feature for iPad…

Expected a bit more, without taking anything away from the calculator that is awesome with the auto completion.

Does anyone have a link saying which iPads will get the equation solving? Curious if it is all the ones that will get iPadOS 18 or just the M-chipped ones.

I feel it needs to slow down and let me write first. Sometimes we hesitate in the middle of a sum. Sometimes we have to rewrite our sum before we complete it.

Would like to try Math Notes on a newer iPad. Then I remembered that the stores probably aren’t running the betas.

Tried Math Notes a few minutes ago. For the first time my iPad mini 6 truly felt slow. Not enough to make me want a new iPad Pro, but noticeable.

Interesting. It works fine on iPad Air 5 with M1/8GB. I guess it needs to be optimized more to improve performance on iPads with slower chipset/less RAM.

One of these days, I'll install the beta on the iPad 9.

I do a lot of mathematics. I will go ooh ahh and then crawl back like the bitch I am to Maxima.

I wonder how far into algebra this goes? If it could do Matrices, that would be great.
