MathType alternatives on macOS?

What equation editor do you use on macOS? MathType vs alternatives?
I’ve been using MathType for years, but on macOS it feels a bit outdated lately.
I recently found MathCapture, which seems to integrate smoothly with Word and PowerPoint.
Curious what everyone else is using and why.

macOS comes with an app called Grapher. It's a powerful graphical calculator, but you can also use it go create formulas. They will copy and paste to other apps with formatting intact.

It does, but as I have not used the other tools I cannot comment on ease of use.

Yes, just install MacTeX and it is included.
