Replaced my unifying receiver, but my mouse (M525) doesn't recognize it. I looked for the unifying software, but it appears to be Windows-only.

Any help? I really need a mouse!

I downloaded the LCC Connection utility and it just tells me to lug the receiver in a USB port. It's already plugged into a USB port...

Confused.

----------

Also tried the control panel in system preferences and the two wouldn't mate when I slid the switch off then on as indicated. Not sure what to do.

----------

Recognized by the system, though. Drawing 98 mA of 500 mA available.

I'm stumped. Usually pretty tech-davy but attempting to make this work has defeated me...

I tried to do the exact same thing and couldn't get unifying receiver to work with both keyboard and mouse.
