Will the 13" and 15" mattes materialize?

Apparently Apple is mulling over the idea of producing matte (non-gloss) screens on the 13" and 15" inch MBPs. If you were a betting man (or woman), what do you think is the likelihood that the 13/15 mattes will materialize?

If you think the mattes will come to pass, you may may care to hazard a guess as to when.

If it doesn't appear in the next gen or two, I don't think we'll be seeing it ever again. Even then, it will likely only be CTO.
 
While they really should, as I prefer matte, I don't think they will. I think if they were going to, they would have done it in the latest refresh when they were changing everything else anyways.
 
Matte will be offered but only as an option. I will pay $100 more for it.

When? By time I have the $$ saved up for 13" mbp. 2010... unless the fabled tablet emerges. Then the mbp has to wait.

Anyway I am skipping latest iphone so my Apple-dedicated $$ being piled up now are meant for the next somewhat larger device.
 
I wouldn't give it anymore than a 35% chance and I am wholeheartedly in the Matte camp. Apple just seems to want to turn their back on the professionals and people who prefer matte over glossy.
 
Although I prefer the glossy screens anyday I dont undersand why apple wont give people the option (even a pay extra for it option) to have matte.
There is clearly a large market for matte displays still.
