Matte screen replacement A1286 (mid 2009)

Hi Experts,

I need to replace a broken screen on my MBP (mid 2009) and, while I can source replacement glossy LCD screens on the web, I cannot find a matte equivalent. I'm looking for the WXGA version (1440x900). Every site I've checked lists them as out of stock. Have matte screens of this resolution been discontinued or could someone point me to a source where I could locate one?

The high res matte screens (1680x1050) are available but I'm wary of choosing one in case of incompatibility....unless anyone can advise whether such a screen may function on my MBP instead of a 1440x900 ?
