Maverick and accessibility functions

Hi there

My father is registered blind and recently he heard a report about the accessibility functions changing on iPads, which caused a lot of problems for blind users. The Royal Institute for the Blind in the UK were not too happy, amongst others.

Can anyone confirm whether there have been any accessibility changes to Maverick? OR is it business as previously [i.e. as Mountain Lion]?
