Maverick issues with GIFs

I just downloaded Mavericks to my 2011 Macbook Pro. After making some changes to my website, Freeway the software I used to build it crashes every time I attempt to upload. All my image files(hundreds) are GIFs. Photoshop CS6 & Bridge also crash whenever I try open a GIF file. There was never a problem with Mt. Lion.

Your comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is anything logged either via the apps you are using & crashing, or in Applications / Utilities / Console.app ?
