Maverick won't connect to certain wifi network

So after updating my MBP to Maverick I can't to my Verizon Mifi. My other devices connect to the network just fine and my MBP will connect to my phone (mobile Hotspot) just fine. Why am I getting a Connection Timeout when I try to connect to this specific network? I have tried restart MBP, turn wifi on and off, and DHCP Renew. Really aggravating...need help!

Same here: I recently struggle with my MBA and mobile wifi router and a number of buffaloes we have at work. I removed WLAN, rebooted. Nothing.
No problem with my AirPort Extreme at home.

idk what changed, but out of the blue it connected one day and haven't had any issues since. I have received several OS updates over the past few days, so maybe they fixed the bug
