Mavericks and iOS 7 email syncing issue

I'm having a problem where archiving a message in the standard Mail app on iOS 7 will move the message to the Archive folder, but also leave it in the Inbox when I open Mail.app on Mavericks.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is this one of those Gmail bugs that's supposed to be worked out in 10.9.1?

Another strange thing: I have a CERN email account using Exchange, and there's no option to directly Archive without going to Move -> Archive (in iOS 7). Is there any way to add an Archive option to the Delete button (like there is for Gmail accounts)?

I have the same issue as you when archiving Gmail on iOS 7; it leaves a copy in the Inbox on Mavericks Mail app.
