Mavericks and iPhoto '09 and iWork '09

Anyone using Mavericks with those apps? Are they working alright?

iWork '09 works just fine, but I am not sure about iPhoto '09.

I've used iWork 09 on mavericks and I think I've seen posts here stating that iPhoto 09 works but I use the current versions now so I cannot confirm

Yes iPhoto 09 works fine on Mavericks. Was using it for the past 4 weeks since upgrading to mavericks without any issues. Have now upgraded to the current version through the mac app store.

Thanks for the info. Still wondering if I'm going to "update" to 10.9...

The new edition of iPhoto dumps the library sharing of the old version and forces you to use iCloud. Yuck, but some may like it. I consider that "broken," but that's just my opinion
