I found a lot of hits in google about getting a Canon Printer/Scanner to work with Image Capture, but no answers.

I got it solved, so I'm posting this for people to find when looking (or me to find when looking again :) )

When you go to Canon's support/download page, get the CUPS driver for the printer (under "Recommended for You") and the ICA Driver under Drivers for the scanner portion.

(The scanner software under Recommended for you doesn't do the job)

Hi VideoBeagle,
I went to the Canon support page and it detected my OS but said there was NOTHING it could suggest... I have a Canoscan LiDE 25 :(

I looked in Image Capture as suggested elsewhere and the mac can't 'see' my scanner :(:(

I guess I'll have to continue to scan on my old windows laptop...

Unless anyone else has a different fix:rolleyes:;)
