Mavericks or Hardware?

On Saturday I bought a new MBA 13" and rMBP 13".
The rMBP has since had the Freezing happening many times as reported in other threads.
The MBA wasnt used as much but now the screen just went black and only a reboot helped.
I am somewhat upset about since I am not used to this kinda crap from apple.
This is why I dont buy windows!!

Is it established that these are software errors with mavericks or could it be hardware?
What is your opinion?

There are well documented issues with rMBP's freezing, but not so much the mBA.

Try an SMC re-set on both Macs and see if it helps at all:

i'd get onto Apple support as they will have the best info about the issue and give you advice that will keep you in the win.

Voting Mavericks issue since each new release gets teething problems.
