Sorry because its not my thread, but I was just wondering about how long Apple is gonna support Mavericks with updates? If anyone knows about this? TIA.

There is already an active thread dedicated to this very question. That said, Apple does not continue to update old operating systems after it releases new operating systems. However, Apple may issue security updates to address critical security issues. Security updates may go back up to two previous OSes. Security updates do not add new features, fix bugs that have no security implications, or change version numbers.
