Mavericks & Photoshop: Crashing???

Hi,

I upgraded to Mavericks and now my Photoshop (CS4 - up-to-date) constantly crashes. I can't get anything done. It usually happens when I try to move or delete a layer.

I was using CS4 with no issues at all up until I upgraded to Mavericks. Does anyone have any suggestions that might get these two to play nicely together?

I have an early 2013 retina 15" MB, 8 GB RAM, 2.4 GHz.
