Hello

I've downloaded and running Mavericks now. It seems, really weird, to affect other peoples wifi speeds. When I turn off my computer, wifi gets quicker, when i turn it on, it slows down...

Ever since I updated to Mavericks it seems to really affect the whole wifi apparatus...

Therese are for ML but it should apply to Mavericks as well:

If your computer is causing the whole network to slow down for others then there must be something running on your side which causes this - torrent apps can cause this for example. Try pausing/stopping some apps which use network like Dropbox. Open Activity Monitor and go to Network tab to see which apps consume the most traffic.
