Hey so I have been following the news of the "new" AEBS and have been trying to find out if it support 450 Mbps connection speed to my MBP 13" 2011, as I thought the 4th gen AEBS only supported 300 Mbps.

The thing is however, that when I go into the network utility, it shows the connection as being 450 Mbps, so my question is, does the 4th gen AEBS support full 450 Mbps connection?

Yes, the fourth generation AEBS supports 450Mbps connections, but your actual throughput will likely be far lower than that.

Thanks for the answers, I guess this means there is probably no reason to go through the hassle of upgrading to the newer gen AEBS.
