Hi, i am running 10.5.1 and trying to convert FLAC to mp3. I am using Max 0.7.1 and when i add the FLAC tracks to be converted, it gives me no choices as to what format i want them to convert to....is this version not compatible with 10.5.1?

thanks

Download the latest unstable version. 0.7.1 has problems with Leopard. At the time of writing the version to go for is r1328 or above.

It runs fine so don't be put off by the unstable tag.

P.S Convert FLAC to Apple Lossless instead, that way you don't lose audio quality and it plays fine in iTunes.

the lastest unstable version i just tried doesnt work for me...it quit unexpectedly the two times i just tried to use it...is there anything else other than MAX?

I do seem to remember some problems with the MP3 encoder and Leopard when using Max. I'd seriously give some thought to using either AAC or Apple Lossless.
