I just got a battery on my MBP replaced, because it was swollen (210 cycles, 2.5 years old). It cost me quite a lot of money here in my country and the technician told me, that one of the causes could be overheating of the battery. So I installed a temperature monitoring app. Well, right now is quite hot summer in Europe (35-40 degrees celsius) and there is no AC in our office. So I was monitoring my battery and it sometimes reaches like 40 degrees of celsius, average is somewhere between 36-38.

My question is what is the safe max. temperature of MBP battery? It is not usually that hot in my country, but after all those battery replacement s*** I would like to know if those kind of temperatures could damage the battery again?

Thanks.
