SOLVED: I simply turned off "enable adaptive brightness". Microsoft sets dumb default settings then buries the fixes three menus deep.

ORIGINAL POST: In Bootcamp, I upgraded from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 8 Pro then installed the 10.8.3 Bootcamp drivers. Now I cannot get the same maximum brightness as I can get in OS X 10.8.3

Suggestions please?

P.S. When I say a day I mean like an hour or so

Confirmed. This is in the advanced power plan settings.
Thanks for the info! I was beginning to get annoyed by the dim display.
