For me, it's about pocketability. The Plus/Max iPhone's are way too big for my liking. I have tried Plus devices in the past, but they're just not for me. Plus, I have an 11" IPP that I use when I need a bigger screen/when I'm home.

I’ve had Xs max for several months. I always preferred larger devices/displays.

Since owning this I have had it tucked away in a uag case which has been great for protection but earlier today I took the case off and think I have just for the first time since owning fully appreciated just how impressive this phone is.

I honestly keep picking it up just to drool a little today. The quality of materials (in hand) to the big bright display..How did I miss all this on initial purchase? I guess I was hasty and/or practical and wanted to protect it immediately but shoving it in a bulky case took away much of my appreciation for just how great this iPhone looks & feels. I’m finally appreciating my iPhone..albeit, belatedly 😁

Max. I've had every Plus/Max sized phone made so I went Pro Max. After playing with a Pro one night, I returned my Pro Max and went Pro. That lasted about a week, then back to a Pro Max. I'ts big, it's heavy, but it's amazing. Just like me! :p

Max, I’m 6’4 and it’s like a normal sized phone for me. My work phone is a standard and feels incredible small. I had the X when it came out and it just felt weird since having the plus phones since they came out.

I’ve had every Plus phone since the 6+. I have a launch day X which I used for 18 months and hated the size. I upgraded to the XS Max in March last year and couldn’t be happier. My 8yo is using the X which is the perfect size for her. I’m still fighting the temptation to upgrade to the 11 Pro Max (I’m trying to wait until September to upgrade), so wether I wait to upgrade or not, I will be upgrading to the biggest phone Apple have.

I’ve had a history of having the plus/max models, but I’m planning on downsizing the next time I buy. I always got the larger size due to the larger battery, screen, and having all of the features. However, I’m ready for something more comfortable in the hand and battery life has gotten a lot closer between the smaller size and the large size nowadays.

I‘m kinda concerned about the 2020 lineup if the rumors are true, because I think the 6.1” will be still too large compared to what I want, and 5.4” will be too small. The 5.8” size of the X/XS/11 Pro are perfect imo, and Im surprised Apple might be taking it away. I’ll reserve my judgment for the release though.

Right now I’m using the Max size but next time I’ll probably switch to a smaller phone. I miss the pocket ability and reaching the whole screen with one hand.

I chose the Pro Max for the battery. Honestly it's bigger than I'd like and the screen is mediocre but it's been nice not needing a battery case or charger around all the time.

I’m keeping my iPhone 8 Plus as my ‘primary’ work phone, downgrading the Max-size to the next smallest iPhone model whatever Apple offers likely coming up in the mid-first quarter.

I like big screens because they are better for viewing content. I wouldn’t mind a bigger sized iPhone than the max. I’ve had the plus/max size iPhones since the iPhone 6 Plus and before that I was using Samsung galaxy note phones. So I’ve been using larger phones since 2012 and I don’t see myself using anything smaller. In fact, I had the iPhone X and I was miserable because it was too small. I was happy to upgrade to the Xs max.

Another one of these threads 😂

Max phone becuase I like a bigger screen. Simple

Max model here because of display and battery life, with ring holder case to improve one hand ergonomics. The iPhone is my main personal computer, I use it for basically everything from gaming, to shopping, etc (except intensive job tasks)... so I want the best/bigger possible.

I had a Xr for 8 months only as i got it so cheap was a no brainer, was using a standard 8, wasn't happy with the sub par screen for such a big phone so sold it a month before the pro released for a tidy profit.
Got a SE for $50 to wait with, then a cheap new XS max came my way a week later, so got it to decide if i wanted that size pro or not. Too big and heavy so sold it for what i paid and used the SE till i got the 11 pro.
Picked up $500AUD selling the Xr and SE so made the pro a better deal.

Bit of stuffing around but i got the right phone for me. To swap to a pro max now i would loose that $500 and cost me another $150.
Pays to try before you commit if you can.

I have an iPhone X and the iPhone 11 Pro just looks exactly like the iPhone X. Upgrading to the iPhone 11 Pro was not an option.

Also I needed a bigger screen and a lot of battery life, so the iPhone 11 Pro Max was the logical choice.

Yeah I got the max for the bigger battery but it’s just too big to use comfortably with one hand. And was pretty heavy. After holding up to watch videos for 30 minutes my wrist was aching.

Haha that screen you’re talking about literally doesn’t get any better! It’s one of the best calibrated displays money can buy period.

Okay. I disagree. It's low PPI and my defective one was washed out. Both the defective one and this unit are yellow without true tone on. I've adjusted using accessibility with color filters. I've used many devices and am currently also using an LG G8 ThinQ. Perhaps I'm not a fan of what Apple considers true colors and am quite fond of dynamic color. To some, dynamic is over-saturated but I love it. To each their own right?

I’m confused, the LG G8 ThinQ is 402 PPI? Xs Max is 458 and has more display area. The white point is extremely accuracy on all of the Xs OLED phones. 6500K is the target for perfect white. LG on the far left.
