Maxed out 2018 Macbook pro 15 to Maxed out 2019 MBP 16, worth it?

A hard decision for a while...

I don't like the butterfly keyboard, but after I tried the MBP 16, the new keyboard is better, but Definitely not as good as many reviewers said. It is the best SO-SO keyboard.

Another concern is battery life. I read too many conflicting information.

spent already $6700 for the MBP 15, now $6100 MBP 16. Headache.

No, because you're going to take it real hard trying to sell a 2 year old computer you paid nearly $7k for.

Will the upgrade pay for itself in....say 2 years?

That depends on a lot of variables.

I, for one, am trading in my 2018 and upgrading to the 16". I intend on maxing it out. Why? Well, partially because I can afford to, and partially because I know that I will be able to make my money back on it within a short period of time. That makes it worth the upgrade for me. What is a good decision in my mind might not make sense to you or for you.

In short, if you want to do it, and if you can afford it and justify it, then why not?
